Our gallops reporter has the latest from Richard Hannon's Lambourn base, where the weekend team was taking shape.

BILLESDON BROOK breezed beautifully on the all-weather strip this morning ahead of the fillies' maiden at Salisbury on Saturday.

The daughter of Champs Elysees was too green to do herself justice and to compound matters missed the break on her debut at the same course.

However, the penny really started to drop when the birds had flown and she stayed on into third.

HARRY BEAU looks another big chance for the Richard Hannon yard in the classified stakes at Salisbury.

He also breezed up the strip and his third in a Goodwood maiden last time is strong form to bring to the table.

TONY CURTIS also engaged in light exercise ahead of Goodwood's Festival Stakes.

WAR GLORY heads to York and has been in good form at home ahead of the seven-furlong handicap.

Several unraced juveniles stretched their legs, including MOVE OVER and ROYAL HOUSEHOLD, who both run in the same race at York.
