Our gallops reporter checked in on some of Nicky Henderson's and found William Henry safe and sound after his Cheltenham flop.

JENKINS blew out pleasingly this morning ahead of the Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham tomorrow.

The five-year-old will face rain-softened ground in the day's feature, but is bred to go on it and has shown a more hungry approach to his work and schooling at home.

While Jenkins will form part of a hugely competitive field in his race, RIVER WYLDE faces just three foes in the big novice chase.

He showed his best form over hurdles going right handed, but there was nothing wrong about the way he readily saw off a decent rivals on his chasing debut at Uttoxeter.

Connections thought about giving tomorrow's race a miss, but it seems to have cut up in his favour and he's certain to go off a warm order after looking in top shape in a swinging canter this morning.

CASABLANCA MIX can use her mares' allowance to good effect this winter and is ready to run before the end of the month.

Her Worcester form looks solid enough and she worked with plenty of gusto with the possibility of a run in a novice chase at Warwick next week.

WHISPER has taken his Kempton extertions in his stride and with a fortnight to go to the Hennessy is in exactly the place Henderson wants him.

There will be another day for WILLIAM HENRY who had no steering before being pulled up at Cheltenham yesterday.

He didn't have a race and remains an exciting prospect.
