Dual Irish champion jockey Davy Russell remains unsure when he will return to competitive action.

Russell, who has been sidelined since suffering a broken arm and a broken foot in a fall at Cork on August 30, was due to make his comeback at Clonmel last Thursday.

However, he was unable to take up his three booked rides due to a problem with paperwork and also missed the action over the weekend and he will not ride at Fairyhouse on Wednesday.

He said: "I won't be back tomorrow. The paperwork hasn't

been sorted yet and I'm not sure when I'll be back.

"Hopefully it won't be long. I'm ready to rock and roll."
