Captain Conan will continue his Cheltenham Festival preparations in Saturday's Betfred Mobile Lotto Challengers Novices' Chase at Sandown.
Nicky Henderson's charge won the Grade One Henry VIII Novices' Chase at the track on his latest start and will face only three rivals as he puts his unbeaten record over fences on the line.
Third Intention filled third place in the Henry VIII and renews rivalry as the pair step up to two-and-a-half miles while Houblon Des Obeaux runs here in preference to Wetherby.
Nigel Twiston-Davies' Changing Times, winner of his last two races at Market Rasen and Taunton, completes the field.
