Magician: Seasonal reappearance at the Curragh

Breeders' Cup Turf winner Magician is back in action in the High Chaparral EBF Mooresbridge Stakes at the Curragh on Monday.

The Aidan O'Brien-trained four-year-old, who was last seen finishing sixth in the Sheema Classic in Dubai, will be joined by stablemate Hall Of Mirrors as he makes his European return in the 10-furlong heat.

O'Brien will be bidding for a fifth successive win in the race after sending out Fame And Glory, So You Think, Windsor Palace and Camelot in recent years.

Jim Bolger runs two in the Group Three contest with Parish Hall and Paene Magnus taking their chances.

The five-runner field is completed by Andrew Oliver's Jazz Girl.

Dermot Weld's Flying Jib notched Listed success a the end of last year and she kicks off her campaign in the Canford Cliffs EBF Athasi Stakes.

O'Brien runs Peace Burg, winner of the Prix de Sandringham last year for Jean-Claude Rouget.

The Power EBF Tetrarch Stakes sees the return of Fountain Of Youth, Great White Eagle and Michaelmas, all promising juveniles for the Ballydoyle team last year.

They will be tested by Paul Deegan's Shining Emerald, runner-up in the Leopardstown 2000 Guineas Trial.

In the six-furlong maiden, O'Brien is represented by Household Cavalry, a half-brother to Derby runner-up Eagle Mountain and top mare Dank.
