Cape Tribulation gave trainer Malcolm Jefferson back-to-back victories with a smooth display in the Betfair. Don't Settle For Less Rowland Meyrick Handicap Chase at Wetherby.
The eight-year-old emulated his ill-fated stablemate According To Pete in the feature race at the West Yorkshire track when outpointing Mr Moonshine by 11 lengths.
Merigo and Zitenka made the running but both faded out of contention as the race hotted up.
It had looked wide open until Cape Tribulation led after the fourth-last fence in the hands of Jack Doyle and pulled away from Mr Moonshine with the favourite Ballyoliver third.
