Rhys Flint and Philip Hobbs both completed doubles as Saunders Road ran out a cosy winner of the CF Roberts Electrical + Mechanical Services Handicap Chase at Cheltenham.
Owner JP McManus was also having his second winner on the card and had few anxious moments as his charge went to the front two out.
He was clear approaching the last and despite hanging towards the far rail, was always in command.
At the line the 9/1 winner had four lengths in hand of Junctiontwentyfour (33/1) who ran a cracker from three pounds out of the handicap.
"He jumped really well and is a horse who while always jumping adequatly, has made the odd mistake," the trainer told Racing UK.
"We got his trip wrong. We thought he got three miles but this is his trip as when he hit the front, he kept going."
