Dettori - guided Kirklees to victory.
Kirklees could return to the Knavesmire next month after a convincing win in the Group Two Sky Bet York Stakes.
The Godolphin runner was sent off the well-backed even-money favourite after scoring a Listed win at Sandown last time and he was always travelling for Frankie Dettori.
Keen in the early stages, Dettori took a pull and let Tazeez stride on into the lead, settling in a handy spot in second on the rails.
The five-year-old was swinging along turning for home, stalking that same rival into the straight before kicking on two furlongs out.
Curtain Call tried to go with him, but he was quickly found wanting for an extra gear as Dettori's mount accelerated away to win by a length and quarter.
Allied Powers and South African import Kings Gambit made late progress to claim the minor honours, with half a length separating the pair.
Trainer Saeed bin Suroor expects next month's Group One Juddmonte International at the Ebor meeting to come under consideration for the Jade Robbery horse.
He said: "I am very pleased. He has improved from his last time.
"It's best for him over a mile and a quarter he could come back here for the International.
"He's good enough to win a Group One."
Dettori added: "I decided to take the lead and kick on early.
"He's a class horse. We've given him time to develop and he's now a really nice horse.
"Perhaps, campaigning abroad, I think he'll win a Group One."
