Fehily - rode Weird Al.
Ian Williams' dark horse Weird Al (12-1) came with a flying finish through the rain in the Steel Plate And Sections Novices' Chase at Cheltenham.
An interesting little contest changed shape a number of times through the course of the two and a half miles and looked to be between Ashkazar and Knockara Beau coming down to the last.
But Noel Fehily and Weird Al saved their best until last, flashing down the outside to finish a neck up on 5-2 joint-favourite Knockara Beau.
"This was a huge ask - it was only the third race of his life and he had a problem getting oxygen into himself after his last run so we were all very nervous," said Williams.
"He looks a proper Cheltenham prospect so we'll take him back, wrap him up and hope he's OK."
Charlton said of the runner-up: "With the weight and the ground that was a good effort.
"He needs the experience and with another five runs he will be foot perfect.
"He's had three starts over fences now so we'll keep him to the better races and he'll have no problem staying three miles."
