Henderson - trains Eradicate.
Eradicate provided prolific owner Alan Spence with another big pay-day in the totesport.com Swinton Hurdle at Haydock.
Spence is a regular face in the winner's enclosure under both codes - he landed a double on the Flat at Lingfield on Friday - and scooped £42,757 for first place courtesy of Nicky Henderson's six-year-old.
Ridden by the highly-rated conditional David Bass, the 16-1 shot diffused the challenge of 9-2 favourite Overturn approaching the last and was two and three-quarters of a length to the good at the line.
Issaquah ran a big race in third at odds of 33-1, while Toubab was fourth.
It was Eradicate's first run since finishing fourth behind Overturn in the Scottish Champion Hurdle at Ayr.
Bass said: "He did it well, though I probably got there a bit too soon. "He was a good horse on the Flat, rated 104, and he had the pace to travel.
"The guv'nor (Henderson) said they would go quick, but I was always very happy.
"The ground and the track suited him."
