Premio Loco - Newmarket win.
Premio Loco delivered a 'home win' for Newmarket owner Bernard Westley in the Group Three Sunley Criterion Stakes.
The six-year-old defied an 8lb penalty for a German Group Two in getting the better of Red Jazz to score by three-parts of a length.
The 25-1 success was jockey Jack Mitchell's first in Group company and gave trainer Chris Wall his 11th winner of the season.
Wall said: "Bernie is Newmarket born and bred so this win means a lot to him and makes it even more satisfying for us.
"We're really pleased as he has been off the track since coming back from Dubai and it is a good start to his season.
"We will now think about the Summer Mile at Ascot in a fortnight's time."
