Prince Siegried (r): Game winner at Windsor
Saeed bin Suroor continued his dominance of the totepool Winter Hill Stakes as Prince Siegfried gave him a fourth win from the last 10 runnings.
William Buick looked to have made a race-winning move inside the final two furlongs on Sir Michael Stoute's 100-30 favourite Dux Scholar, going half a length or so up at one stage.
But Ted Durcan found Prince Siegfried a willing partner and they rallied close home to get up by half a length.
Bin Suroor said: "He had run well at Epsom when he won last time and today he handled the ground really well.
"I told Ted to sit handy, and he travelled well all the way. Hopefully he can go on for better races in the future.
"He tries very hard, but he needs the ground - the softer ground made a difference to him."
