Krone: Legend
Julie Krone partnered Invincible Hero to a popular victory in the Clipper Logistics Leger Legends Classified Stakes.
The American jockey certainly lived up the billing of the racing having partnered 3,704 winners in her homeland and the Hall Of Famer was always travelling strongly aboard the winner.
The 4-1 favourite was in front over a furlong out and was never in danger of defeat, going on to score by three-and-a-half lengths.
Skyfire (9-1) took second for Charlie Swan with Dialogue (6-1) and George Duffield third.
Krone said: "I enjoyed it very much. I must say thank you for supporting two very worthy causes. They don't have a single straight mile in America!
"I was only half as much help as I normally am. I looked up and saw a furlong out and gave him two token swats and I was like 'please just keep going to the wire'! He really flattened and out nice and I tried not to bounce around too much.
"I went out 40 days in a row and I breezed horses for Eoin Harty and Richard Mandella. Mandella had me on every horse in the world and they got me fit. To get my mind faster that was really good."
