David Pipe's Decoy (13-2) won the cheltenhamcollection.co.uk Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle under Conor O'Farrell at Cheltenham on Friday.

The pair were meant to team up with Enfant De Lune but O'Farrell switched to Decoy after his original mount was declared a non-runner.

And O'Farrell soon went to the lead on the five-year-old, stretching clear a long way from home with the race looking in safe keeping two furlongs out.

However, the winner had to dig deep in the end to see off the late rally of Nicky Henderson's Semi Colon (5-1) and in the end the winning margin was just a head.

Kells Belle (12-1) was third with Georgian King (33-1) fourth.

Pipe said: "He's been gelded since his last run and the blinkers have done the trick. We'd had this in mind for a while."
