Dynaste routed his rivals in the betfair.com/paulnicholls 'Fixed Brush' Handicap Hurdle at Haydock.

Stablemate Grands Crus is among the previous winners of the race and this David Pipe-trained grey looks another exciting prospect.

The 7-1 chance was in control of the contest from the moment he swept clear of his rivals early in the home straight.

Jockey Conor O'Farrell was able to watch his toiling rivals on the big screen as his partner eased to an eight lengths success.

Benny Be Good (20-1) travelled strongly for a long way and ran well in second with the fast-finishing Synchronised (25-1) a big eyecatcher in third. Across The Bay (16-1) was fourth.

Sky Bet introduced their winner to the Ladbrokes World Hurdle betting at 12-1.

"He's a very nice horse, He travelled great and jumped super the whole way. I filled his lungs up going down the back and then I gave him a kick in the belly turning into the straight and it was all over," said O'Farrell.

"It wouldn't be bad if he follows the same path as Grands Crus and I'd love to keep the ride on him!"

Pipe was at Ascot, where he said: "That was superb again. Conor's given him a great ride. I thought they went plenty quick enough early on, but he's kept going.

"It's great for his owners, John White and his family. They had horses with dad for years - Beau Ranger, who was very good.

"He was bought cheaply in France. He's going to go up a lot in the handicap now, and he'll either go for a conditions hurdle somewhere or he'll go novice chasing."
