Eleven Fifty Nine (L) battles with Umadachar
Anthony Honeyball and Rachael Green teamed up to land the closing mares' bumper at Aintree with 6/1 shot Eleven Fifty Nine.
The first three home in last month's listed race at Sandown fought out the finish once again, only this time Eleven Fifty Nine improved past Call Me A Star and Umadachar.
As I Am was the one to catch turning for home as Leighton Aspell took several lengths out of the field, and the juvenile was still in front a furlong out.
But the 'Sandown three' gradually closed the gap before Green drove the daughter of Midnight Legend to victory by a length and a half, with Call Me A Star (3/1 favourite) staying on to beat Umadachar (17/2) for second.
Green said: "She's very tough and galloped all the way to the line. She's quite keen so I had to switch her off out the back but it went perfect as I had a plan and I wanted to sneak half a length off the last bend and it worked out nicely.
"She's a very strong mare and having some time off last year did her no harm. To ride a winner here is amazing. It's the highest moment of my career."
Honeyball added: "It's been a great season but this is the winner we've been waiting for really.
"The owner has been very patient as she got jarred up earlier in her career. She just keeps galloping and will be very good in novice hurdles."
