Boomerang Bob: A creditable fourth
British raider Boomerang Bob came home a creditable fourth behind Lockwood in the Prix De Ris-Orangis at Maisons-Laffitte on Sunday.
John Hills' three-year-old came with a strong challenge a quarter of a mile out in this Group Three over six furlongs but couldn't quite maintain the momentum.
The Andre Fabre-trained Lockwood, ridden by Pierre-Charles Boudot and carrying Godolphin's beige colours, produced a good turn of foot to land the spoils.
Gammarth was second with the nine-year-old Marchand D'Or just snatching third place from Boomerang Bob.
