Tim Easterby: Won with Body And Soul
Body And Soul produced an impressive performance to take the totepool.com Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar.
Tim Easterby's filly cost just £7,500 and in adding this valuable Listed event to her Weatherbys Super Sprint gains, has now won well over £250,000 in prize-money.
The 4-1 favourite was soon tracking her York conqueror Hototo and got the perfect tow into the race, hitting the front over a furlong out.
Duran Fentiman's mount put the race to bed in a matter of strides, stretching clear to beat Hototo (9-2) by two and three-quarter lengths.
Annunciation was a further half-length back in third.
