For Non Stop: Runaway winner of Aintree feature
For Non Stop routed his rivals in the Grade Two Betfred Monet's Garden Old Roan Chase at Aintree.
Stagecoach Pearl tracked the trailblazing Mad Max for a circuit before moving to the head of affairs but three out it was clear he was only there on sufferance.
For Noel Fehily was sitting motionless aboard For Non Stop and the 4/1 joint-favourite sauntered clear of his rivals from that point.
Wishfull Thinking (9/1) gradually warmed to his task from the rear of the field to claim second spot but never threatened to land a blow to the winner who went on to score as he liked by 23 lengths.
Stagecoach Pearl (16/1) deservedly held on for third.
It was a particularly sweet result for Fehily, who has only just returned to action after suffering a broken leg in the John Smith's Grand National in April.
He said: "I've been back riding two weeks today. It does take time to return to your peak, but I feel good. It's hard to believe that the last time I came here I left in an ambulance. This horse did it really well and has probably improved."
Winning trainer Nick Williams said: "Each year he seems get better and I think the course and the strong pace suited him. The Paddy Power Gold Cup closes on Tuesday and is an option, we'll have to have look at it."
