Back In Focus: Made it two out of two over fences
Back in Focus made it two out of two over fences with a clear-cut victory in the Florida Pearl Novice Chase at Punchestown.
The winner was completing a quick double on the card for Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh after the success of Twinlight in the preceding contest.
The Graham Wylie-owned seven-year-old followed up his debut win over fences at Listowel with another pleasing performance in this Grade Two contest.
Farrells Fancy made the running until three fences from home, where he was quickly swamped by his three rivals.
Lyreen Legend tried to make a race of it but Back in Focus was too strong and pulled away on the run to the line.
Walsh said: "He's a tough horse, he keeps galloping and stays forever.
"I thought Lyreen Legend was the one we had to beat and I had a look to see where he was. He's relentless and keeps galloping away."
The winner is a 12-1 chance for the RSA Chase at the Cheltenham Festival with Sky Bet.
