Tickled Pink (left) rallies to score

Tickled Pink (5/2 fav) fought back bravely to land a messy renewal of the Group Three Coral Charge at Sandown Park.

The four year old jumped quickly and bagged the all-important berth next to the rail under Tom Queally as she shared the lead with Bungle Inthejungle and the blinkered Mince.

Lady Cecil's grey, an impressive winner of the Abernant on her seasonal reappearance, looked in trouble inside the distance but rallied gamely to take the five furlong contest by a length from Kingsgate Native.

The runner-up had found himself continually short of room in the final two furlongs of the contest before eventually finding daylight out wide while the same owners' Duke Of Firenze was another for whom the gaps never appeared.

The winner is owned by Trevor Stewart and is the daughter of his Royal Ascot winner Cassandra Go and Stewart believes they share some of the same traits.

"She has all the traits of Cassandra Go, we tried her over six furlongs but she shows an awful lot of speed so the drop back to five worked. We'd like to go for the King George at Goodwood then on to the Nunthorpe," he said.
