Verdict

Regal Diamond won a couple of bumpers in the spring and only found one too good on his hurdling debut at Chepstow. He's one for the short-list here along with Splash Of Ginge, though the latter has been racing over further and was well beaten at Carlisle last month. Viacometti is another bumper winner and Clues And Arrows has been successful between the flags but this easy course often suits recruits from the Flat and there are a couple in this. GABRIAL THE GREAT won over 1m4f on the level and was eighth in the Cambridgeshire when last seen. He was rated 11lb higher than Villoresi and can get off the mark over hurdles here at the first time of asking.
