Verdict

Problema Tic is sure to be popular but preference is for the other penalised runner in TALE OF TANGANYIKA whilst Mr Jay Dee merits respect. The selection ran on well to win impressively at Musselburgh on debut before being asked to contest the Grade 2 bumper at this track last month. He was far from disgraced in finishing in midfield in a race where he enjoyed little luck in running and is capable of going close here. Problema Tic may have been flattered by the margin of his soft ground victory at Towcester as several of his rivals struggled to cope with the steep incline and it remains to be seen how he copes with this test of speed. Irish point winner Blenheim Brook is an interesting newcomer to racing under Rules whilst Tom George has his bumper horses in form so Lexicon Lad is another worth considering. Mwaleshi, Glenfly, Mr Jay Dee and His Lordship are other names to note in what appears to be an interesting race of its type but Tale Of Tanganyika may have the last word.
