In depth

Verdict

Opening Batsman appears to be improving but will need another personal best to defy what appears a stiff mark on handicap debut. Lets Get Serious is lightly raced but also has his fair share of weight but Howizee ran a cracker from out of the handicap at Haydock last Saturday and, effectively 4lb lower here, should play a part if fully recovered. SAINGLEND had some pretty decent form last season and there's no reason why he won't go close again here. He's gone up 7lb for his Stratford win but the booking of McCoy for this suggest connections think he is still reasonably handicapped. Bunclody, second on his first try over this trip at Bangor last month, and the unexposed Alpha Victor are others to consider.
