      Verdict

Having finished third to the smart Buratino on debut in March, Yeah Baby Yeah was sent over to Deauville for a Listed race last month and again made the frame. She tries 6f for the first time but won't be far away if lasting home. Stroke of Midnight has had a few opportunities and so has Operative, though he'd have every chance on his second at Goodwood in July. Taurean Star has shown promise but dropping back from 7f may not suit. SHORT WORK ran very well in a hot maiden over course and distance on debut but blew the start when favourite at Nottingham next time- he deserves another chance. Newcomers Englishwoman and Zoffany's Way should be monitored for market interest.
