Mappa Mundi is likely to be popular having gone close at Yarmouth but there look to be plenty of dangers among the debutants and TANZEEL catches our eye. A half-brother to Hitchens, he holds an entry in the Gimcrack Stakes so is clearly held in some regard. York maidens are often decent so Lincoln and Crowdmania are respected despite their failure to trouble the judge on the Knavesmire. Toofi holds entries in a number of the top sales races and he makes plenty of appeal as his dam was a winner as a juvenile. Headlong can be anticipated to have come on for a promising debut at Newmarket while Bold Spirit and Gloss are duly noted in the market. Pat Dobbs is aboard the Queen's runner though the latter is respected given his owner's extraordinary strike rate with her juveniles.
