Verdict

Churchill returned a losing favourite over 6f at the Curragh on his debut but this longer trip will suit the son of Galileo. Collateral form gives the Ballydoyle colt the beating of Gowran winner Justice Frederick, who has since joined Paul d’Arcy. The Frankel colt Cunco narrowly beat Isomer over 6f at Newbury but Frankuus, another son of Frankel, scored over today’s distance at Haydock with Devil's Bridge behind. Subsequent Ayr winner Masham Star was second to Admiralty Arch at York earlier while Frankie Dettori keeps his winning partnership with Magillen intact. AIMING FOR RIO caught the eye of Godolphin when romping home at Deauville by five lengths and the French raider now sports their colours. Soft ground is no problem for Matthieu Palussiere’s filly and she gets a speculative vote at a big price.
