Verdict

It could pay to side with ANY CURRENCY and he is given the vote head of Pretty Star and Fairoak Lad. The form of the yard is a big plus for our pick as they have been flying in recent weeks. Any Currency appeared to win with plenty in hand earlier in the month at Sandown and he looks one to stay on the right side of. Pretty Star is returning from a break and he has tended to need his first run of the season in the past. He did run some big races last year but the handicapper took note of that and he may need to be dropped a few pounds before he is able to resume winning ways. Fairoak Lad was another easy winner last time but that was over hurdles and he lacked any fluency with his jumping when last seen out over fences, even though he won that day at Worcester. He will need to improve his jumping if he is to get his head in front here. Bowleaze is a thorough stayer who would probably prefer a slightly longer trip to be seen at his best. Any Currency is in good form and he can win again.
