    Verdict

Soapy Danger gets a tentative vote to give Mark Johnston further success in the race, with Private Business, Road To Mandalay and Galient others with claims. This is obviously a contest that Mark Johnston likes to win, having sent out three of the past five winners, and he has worked the oracle many times with late maturing staying sorts. Soapy danger falls into that category, having only made his debut four months ago, since when he has not been out of the first two, gaining three successes. The most recent of those was on fast ground at Haydock where he dominated to score, and those front-running tactics will work a treat here as he tackles two miles for the first time. Private Business also takes a step up in trip, having finished fourth of five behind Primary in the Sandown Classic Trial on his return to action in April. As a juvenile, he was just a neck behind Arafa in the Horris Hill at Newbury, and that represents solid form now. As long as he stays, the Barry Hills inmate will surely make his presence felt. Aidan O'Brien relies on Navan winner Road To Mandalay who will have no problem staying the distance, and with Kieren Fallon on board, this costly son of Galileo will be a popular choice as well, especially with the ground to suit. Galient is two-out-of-two so far this season, and as he was not stopping at the finish at Chester, is another to consider, but with Mark Johnston's impressive record in this race taken into account, the answer has to be Soapy Danger.
