Verdict

The progressive SPEREDEK landed a hat-trick over fences before making all to win easily over hurdles at Exeter last week. He’s bound to face a hike in the weights in the future but a 7lb penalty may not be enough to anchor him in this. Eddiemaurice won last year’s renewal off today’s mark and has a couple of recent outings over fences under his belt while Molineaux was narrowly beaten over these hurdles earlier this month but has been raised 7lb. Attest is 10lb higher than when scoring at Perth during the summer and Verdana Blue finished just in front of Midnight Maestro when fifth over track and trip on her recent return to action.
