Verdict

Portrush Ted came in for good support on his introduction at Uttoxeter in March and duly obliged. He has a penalty to carry and this looks a better race though he's an obvious contender. Nestor Park started a short-priced favourite on his debut at Bangor but couldn't quite get to the winner though he'll be better for the experience. Bomber's Moon started off with a very good second at Warwick but couldn't handle Grade 2 company at Aintree so the vote goes to DR RHYTHM. The winner of a point at Holnicote by 25l when in the care of Jack Barber, the son of Kalanisi looks a bright prospect and can start off with a victory under Rules.
