Verdict

Richard Hannon trained the winner of last year's inaugural running but though Tea In Transvaal is speedily bred her stablemate Raajis has the benefit of experience. Full Day and Heartstrings both showed enough when placed on their respective debuts to suggest an ordinary maiden should come their way, but this looks far from ordinary. Psychometry, Lovelocks and Lady Sparkler are three newcomers to note in the betting along with the 160,000gns purchase Mutatis Mutandis. Lilyfire is related to winners but wears her owners second colours and it's LIKELIHOOD that sports the Khalid Abdullah pink cap. Given she's related to Group 3 winner Treble Jig and is entered in the Fillies' Mile, John Gosden's filly gets the nod in a tough opener.
