Himalya's form at the track suggests he'll once again go well but he may have to settle for minor honours behind French-raider DALGHAR. The four-year-old has some top-notch form over a mile and seven furlongs to call upon and one of those efforts, when just denied two starts back in the Lennox Stakes, suggests he could be a serious proposition over six. That day the horse travelled enthusiastically and looked to have put the race to bed with a real turn of foot two out only to be collared close home and a repeat might be enough this time. Kingsgate Native is always respected in this grade but giving away weight on ground slower than ideal won't be easy and indeed its concerns about the ground that put us off Lady Of The Desert, a filly who could go right to the top over this trip but perhaps not until next summer. Sayif's best form has come over a stiff six including a victory in this last year so he's respected especially with the switch to Sir Michael likely to encourage improvement while Dever Dream has done nothing but improve this term and could well continue to do so.
