Verdict

Balmoral Castle faces a stiff task under top weight but Steal The Scene has been getting closer. Oasis Spear is interesting making his handicap debut while Adam McLean is good value for his claim and should be involved aboard the returning Bastille Day. Pearl Spectre won at Southwell last month and Gannicus and Chevallier should both strip fitter for recent outings. But we'll take a chance on PENSAX BOY, who certainly wasn't winning out of turn at Wolverhampton in December and still looks to be on a decent mark. Sabre Rock has won his last five on Polytrack but hasn't raced for well over a year.
