Verdict

Roger Varian complicates matters running recent course and distance runner-up Appeared and also King Bolete, who scored at Windsor last time. Ryan Moore partners Galapiat, who runs in a handicap for the first time since scoring at Epsom in April but is 8lb higher today though still preferred to stable companion Sennockian Star. Red Galileo has something to find with Appeared on latest running and a chance is taken on FIDAAWY. The latter ran well enough at Epsom last time considering he was drawn out with the washing and Sir Michael Stoute’s charge is taken to improve for today’s longer trip.
