Verdict

Another tough handicap in which the majority have some sort of chance. Chepstow runner-up Kris Spin has shown progressive form this season but is closely matched with Leo Luna on last year's form. Staigue Fort seems to need fast ground but all going comes alike to Newbury scorer Billy Twyford and he goes on the short-list now he's back in form. Azure Fly and Heronry are other to consider, along with Harry Derham's mount Howlongisafoot, while Bygones Sovereign has run well in both starts around here. MOORLANDS MIST has struggled on heavy ground since winning easily at Chepstow in December when Ugly Bug was only sixth. Thomas Cheeseman is his regular partner and his 8lb claim here could be invaluable. Mysteree and Silver Eagle are probably the pick of the remainder.
