Verdict

These amateurs' sprint handicaps are notoriously difficult and HERE NOW AND WHY, a frustrating character, is the most tentative of choices. A confirmed hold-up performer, he will need to be treated with kid gloves in trying to weave his way through the field but Serena Brotherton is a most accomplished pilot and can hopefully find the right gaps at the right time. Chosen One is far less complicated and completed a hat-trick earlier in the year. Asked to concede weight all round, he remains in good form and comes here on the back of a good effort behind Red Baron at Musselburgh. Lord Buffhead is interesting as he ran a solid race in midweek when third at Yarmouth and looks to have recaptured form after a couple of disappointments. He should be in the mix with Methaaly also respected.
