Verdict

THE UNSUB made his racecourse debut over track and trip and showed plenty of promise to finish a close-up second to Heritage Way. Gordon Elliott's charge can take advantage of Seldom Inn's penalty and open his account. The latter scored at Newcastle in December but the form hasn't worked out while point-to-point winner Waddingstown makes his debut under Rules, though stablemate and £100,000 purchase Kingswell Theatre may prove best of his yard's three runners. A Jim Goldie representative has won this twice in recent years so Bengairn is another newcomer to note.
