      Verdict

      Monel recorded a rare win over track and trip last time but runner-up Jessie's Spirit is weighted to take revenge on today's terms. Ifan and Push Me are both suffering from bad cases of seconditis and the latter would prefer more cut in the ground and was engaged yesterday while the suspicion remains that Circuitous is better over 6f nowadays and scored over that distance at Carlisle last month. TED'S BROTHER remains in fine fettle and arrives on the back of a win at Hamilton. He looks sure to run his race again and gets the vote to follow up.
