        Verdict

        Modern Lady ran below par at Catterick back in May and has proved better on the all-weather so far. Rat Catcher posted a better effort when runner-up at the same track on his latest start but that was over 6f and CRACKING CHOICE is preferred. The latter has slipped down the weights since finishing third at Newcastle in June and that may give Michael Dods' charge the edge in a poor handicap. Constant Dream's best form has come on the Fibresand at Southwell and she was well beaten at Redcar recently.
