Verdict

BANDANAMAN stayed on dourly to land a ladies' race at Carlisle earlier this week. This doesn't look any tougher and, though penalised, Garry Whillans can claim 5lb. Alan Swinbank's winning hurdler is fancied to come out on top again despite giving 15lb to Nay Secret, a winner at Thirsk before finishing a well-beaten third over 2m1f here last month though he still has the beating of Forrest Flyer on that run. Vittachi stays well and is a C&D winner so may be best of the rest.
