Verdict

Markhan was scheduled to run at Musselburgh yesterday but would have to go on the short-list if turning up here. Coviglia tried to make all here last month but was swamped in the closing stages. She is 3lb better off with eventual winner LUCKY VIOLET but that may not be enough to turn the tables of Linda Perratt’s charge, who has found some form and is partnered tonight by the very accomplished Serena Brotherton. Clary should have benefited from her run at Hamilton and Texas Radio hasn’t been disgraced off higher marks since winning at Gowran in June.
