Verdict

BLUE KASCADE is generally consistent at this level and though his latest success at Wetherby came in October he goes well fresh and Brian Hughes can steer him to his third success over fences. Cobajayisland has to be a threat as he landed a Class 3 handicap at Musselburgh in November. That was on good going and if he handles today's conditions it will be a surprise if he's out of the frame. My Friend George has been raised a massive 10lb for an easy victory in what looked a poor contest at Sedgefield but if it turns into a real slog then Chavoy, who won over 3m3f in very heavy going here in February, should enter the equation. The successful hunter and point-to-pointer Chanceofa Lifetime gets round in his own time and could snatch a place at a fair price.
