        Verdict

        Kommander Kirkup found only the progressive Astaire too good on his debut at York and that's the best piece of form on offer. But that was back in May and RIBBLETON may prove too good for him here. The latter didn't get the best of runs at Thirsk last time but still managed to finish a close-up third with a subsequent winner in the runners-up spot. Mocacha gets first-time headgear having failed to land the odds at Leicester last time while Lexington Abbey looks likely to improve from his debut fourth at Carlisle.
