In depth

Verdict

KNOCKGRAFFON KING came good over fences when landing a Class 3 chase at Newcastle last month. Donald McCain's charge can shrug off a 6lb rise in the weights dropped in class for this. The Friary failed to cope with a 5lb rise for scoring at Hexham when only third at Carlisle last time, but Oil Burner beat a subsequent winner over course and distance on his latest start and should be thereabouts once again. Outlaw Tom and Mister Philson are harder to fancy on recent form though both have slipped back down to a winning mark.
