A tough finale for punters to get a grip on and from a shortlist of WIND SHUFFLE, Five Wishes and Grandad Bill, we will side with the first mentioned. The selection has been given a break of almost three weeks since he disappointed at Hamilton last time. That was a lifeless run really considering the form that he had been in earlier in the year in Scotland and the North of England. It may be that a mark of 75 is beyond him; however the feeling is that something may have been amiss on that last run and he can return to winning ways. Shy Glance and Krugerrand are both course and distance winners and warrant respect, along with Grandad Bill who runs this track so well and won't mind the return to this trip. Persian Peril is hit and miss and his overall record suggests that we may see the latter today, so a bigger danger may be Five Wishes who has been holding his form so well this year. Expect improvement from Nans Best after a recent pipe-opener; however it is Wind Shuffle who can shrug off top-weight.
