Verdict

Punters know they are in trouble when a meeting starts off with a 27-runner sprint handicap in which Dandy Nicholls supplies more than a quarter of the field. Amenable, Hamoody, Bonnie Charlie and Llewellyn are all recent winners, the last three carrying 5lb penalties, while Tajneed was second in the Ayr Gold Cup in 2008. Richard Price's Cheveton won the Silver Cup over C&D 12 months ago and is 8lb lower now. He was touched off by Kyleakin Lass at Ffos Las last Sunday and shouldn't be far away while Roker Park, Parisian Pyramid and Time Medicean have the past form to figure. Laura Barry's 7lb claim brings Coolminx into the equation but FREQUENCY was quite impressive when scoring over C&D last month and Robert Winston was on board when he won at Hamilton earlier in the year. He could go close as he should be able to grab the far rail from stall one. The three-year-old Jack Dexter may be best of the rest.
