In depth

Verdict

Hard to be confident about any of these and a tentative vote goes to MILITARY CALL. He won at Musselburgh off today's mark last year and Justin Newman's 3lb claim helps his cause further. Abernethy popped up at 40/1 in slow ground over C&D last week and has a 6lb penalty to contend with, while Spread Boy showed a bit more at Hamilton last time and Jaldarshaan is back on a winning mark.
