Court Jester was third in a conditionals' handicap at Down Royal on his latest outing and heads a strong Irish challenge which includes Glenconkeyne, Shanroe Society and Sudski Star. Gunner Lindley won on the Flat at Leopardstown in October for Denis Hogan but was well beaten when made favourite on his first start for Stuart Coltherd at Kelso last month and has a bit to prove now. PLUS JAMAIS is still a maiden and has only managed one place in nine starts under Rules but there was a lot more promise in his latest run at Kelso, where he was given plenty to do having been well backed. Eased a further 3lb since, this may be his chance to shine. Rhymers Stone won at Newcastle last month but is unreliable and Endeavor may still be a few pounds too high.
