Verdict

Fillies Mile entry Atabaas Allure has to be a leading fancy in the opening event at Ayr; Zafisio and Postman are others with claims on what they have shown so far, while Tartan Gunna - a stablemate of the selection - is another to bear in mind for future reference. The last named is bred to be effective at this trip and, as he is introduced at a realistic level, he can only gain from this experience. Postman came up against some useful types at York last time out and did better than his finishing position would have you believe. He looks a likely type to keep in mind for a nursery after this. Zafisio should handle the ground and, having shown plenty of promise at Sandown on his debut, he can be expected to be a lot wiser this afternoon. The son of Efisio showed professionalism well beyond his experience at the Esher course and he looks a big threat to them all today. Nevertheless, Atabaas Allure is also going the right way and, even though she will need to improve greatly to fulfil her fancy entries, her handy fillies allowance leaves her with the sharpest cutting edge in this grade this afternoon.
